Semblance is delighted to have taken part in the inaugural edition of TINY MOON FESTIVAL, hosted at the wonderful studio and venue of artist collective M33 in Strasbourg, France.
The programme took the idea of resonance as its starting point — featuring works by Cathy Van Eck, Catherine Lamb, Hugo Bell, and Myrtó Nizami that each explore how sonic material can transform when heard in shifting, resonant contexts.
Cathy Van Eck: Wings
Hugo Bell: between the smallest of spaces
Myrtó Nizami: Into the light of things (premiere - commissioned by Fondation Royaumont)
Catherine Lamb: line/shadow
With thanks to MMC, the M33 team, and most of all to Robert Menczel who made all the magic happen.
